ParticipantHi,
first thanks to Ron for the new dapper-nightly-binary. It installed like a charm and the config is done fast through ne new web-interface. The only problem is that the shares don’t show up. I can restart mt-daapd and avahi as often I want, it doesn’t change. The “Bonjour” in the web-interface is in status “stopped”. 🙁Anyone ideas where to look for the bug?
Thanks in advance, Daniel

ParticipantThe Bonjour status in firefly is always “stopped”, thats a bug.
“Shares” dont show up?
How do you verify this?
does the webinterface show a number of songs, or uptime for firefly?are there a few mt-daapd threads?
ps ax|grep daap

ParticipantI can’t access the shares through Itunes or the web-interface. I don’t see any shares and there are no songs in the web-interface.
There are two processes for mt-daapd.
Any idea?

ParticipantI just copied mt-daapd.conf from /usr/share/doc/mt-daapd/mt-daapd.conf over the old one in /etc/.
After configuring, the shares show up in Itunes, but the songs.db seems not to be filled right. I got about 1000 songs and its only 14k big. “Songs” and “Song Served” are set to zero.
Any idea for the DB?
Thanks, Daniel

ParticipantI found the mistake 😳
I had my home directory set to 700 to secure my user account. So there could not be read a single mp3.Sorry to bother you. Next time I’ll try longer, I swear 😉
