when i check Itunes my shared is not coming up. the last thing i did was stop the service to organize my folders where my MP3’s are kept, then updated mt-daapd.conf to point to my mp3’s [/media/music]

then i restarted the service i can see the music on Itunes but no audio when i click on it. so i stop the service then reboot. after reboot started the service again now nothing is coming up Grrrrrrrrrr what gives i checked and rechecked hoping the path was wrong. (even if the path is wrong servername should pop up?)

i also notice that even when i started the service im not able to access via
    http://localhost:3689/

i also un-installed/install thinking that would help

if somebody i having this same issue or know there way out of this please help i was informative enough

    [root@Grub-badubdub ~]# service mt-daapd start
Starting DAAP server: [ OK ]
    [root@Grub-badubdub ~]# service mt-daapd stop
    Shutting down DAAP server: [FAILED]

    Thanks is advance

First you gotta give us some basic information.
Where do you run firefly? Machine, OS, network…?
Where do you run iTunes? Machine, OS, network…. the works!
    What versions do you use?
