Server crashes in middle of song.

    The server keeps crashing in the middle of song and this is the error message I get. 7.2.0.16 is the I-Tunes ver I am running. Can someone help me?

    One obvious possiblity from your report is that you are rescanning the databse every 15 minutes. Thay may / may not be the problem. I set my rescan interval to 0 (using the web-based config screen) so that there are no automatic re-scans. I then only force a rescan manually when I have added stuff. Try it and see if it helps.

    ok, I set all of that area in config web to 0’s, see what happens.

    It may still happen, just not as often. It’s a bad interaction with virus scanners. Latest nightly (http://nightlies.mt-daapd.org) fixes it for good, so you should be able to scan at short intervals and still not experience the problem.
