My current platform is a W2K3 Server running firefly with it’s own service account. All of my music is located on a drive within the same server. I have permission allowed with that user account on both the program files folder and the music folder.
My issue is that my play_count and songs served is not updating correctly.
The play_count for any song is not updating at all.
The song served value from the admin page is updating until I restart ththe service, and then the number resets. Is this working as intended for the most current Firefly release?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to thank the developers on this project for doing such a great job and the community for supporting this effort!

Windows 2003
Firefly Version: svn-1696
SoundBridge is running software version 3.0.5118/04/2008 at 10:49 PM #16848EVILRipperParticipantWhich play_count do you mean? I cant find any.
However, Songs Served (in the adminpage) is the total songs that have been requested from firefly. So every song you attempt to listen (even if you stop it after a second) counts as a “served song”.

I think its mostly transcoded files that don’t get counted. Just one of the things that is broken.
You have to remember that Firefly is still a work in progressThis topic should have been posted in the Nightlies Feedback forum

To access it you go:
Firefly Server Admin (http://server_name:9999/)> “smart playlists” > “Add new playlist” > wizard > the first drop down list > “play_count”
