Hello,
is there a mt-daapd version for the Asus wl-hdd that works with the pinnacle branded soundbridge?
There is a nightly version “mt-daapd_svn-1571-1wl500_mipsel.ipk”.
Does anybody know, if this works?Mario.

I copied the “mt-daapd_svn-1571-1wl500_mipsel.ipk” package into the /tmp directory, issued “ipkg update” and “ipkg install mt-daapd_svn-1571-1wl500_mipsel.ipk”
Important for the config file: Use the right user, in general: admin. At this state it works running in the foreground, but not if started with the S60… script.
So I changed the start entry in this script to
/opt/sbin/mt-daapd -f -y -c /opt/etc/mt-daapd/mt-daapd.conf &Now it runs in background and my Pinnacle Soundbridge can connect to th mt-daapd server.
But there’ still a problem:
The RSB can see the Playlist that are created with iTunes, but if i choose one, there are no songs in it.
I use iTunes on windows. Are there any ideas?

Make sure you have your iTunes Music File.xml in the directory that has all the artist names… for example, you have something like htis:
Music
— Abba
— Ministry
— The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste
— Morrissey
— Bona Drag
— Skinny Puppy
— Cleanse, Fold, and Manipulate
— Too Dark ParkPut it right in the “Music” folder. It should find it then. If not, I’d like to see your iTunes xml, and a logfile at -d9, and I can see whats going wrong.

Hello Ron,
right now my directory structure looks like this:
/opt/share/musik/eigene musik/
— Abba
— Ministry
—- The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste
— Morrissey
—- Bona Drag
— Skinny Puppy
— iTunes
—- iTunes Music Library.xmlI don’t know, how to pu the xml File to “/opt/share/musik/eigene musik/”.
I can change the my music folder with TweakUI, but iTunes adds the “iTunes” folder on its own.Mario.

telnet into the thing, and go into the “eigene musik” directory. Then do:
# ln -s "iTunes/iTunes Music Library.xml"
That should do it.

It works!Many thanks!! 😀
