    Congrats 😉

Well if firefly does start up you should be able to access the web interface at http://localhost:3689

If it fails to start up however, you have to tweak mt-daapd.conf manually. Mostly you just need to adjust the mp3_dir to something that firefly has permissions to access though.

Got it. I found the default password in the config file.

I’ve worked out how to make smart playlists but I don’t seem to be able to create playlists in iTunes by dargging and dropping the tracks.

I’m guessing this is an iTunes problem or the fact that Firefly work through a database. Is there a way around this?

I think I might have installed an older version of Firefly. The webgui looks like this

Rather than like this, which is the current version

Is there an easy way of updating it to the current version, or do I have to reinstall from scatch?

You have actually installed mt-daapd. The version of the software before it was renamed to firefly.

To upgrade to firefly, grab one of the nightly packages.
I’d suggest to move or rename your current config, and merge the settings manually, as the new version might have a more up to date config file.

I guess you have to reinstall it all the way…
