    Hi,

I tried to follow the steps found here http://wiki.mt-daapd.org/wiki/Quickstart_NSLU2, but I ran into a problem when I had to telnet into the NSLU2 after running the unsling command.

When I try to telnet into the NSLU2 (step 13), I enter my username and password, I get a quick message that it is running on flash memory, then I get connection to host lost.

I tried to reset the NSLU2 by holding the reset button, but it doesn’t reset to factory settings.

Can anybody help. I’m a newbie at this.

    Thanks,

    JRudner

http://wiki.fireflymediaserver.org/NSLU2_Installation is the most recent info on installing on NSLU2. Take a look at that, and see if you have departed from one of the steps there. In particular, make sure you read the instructions in the README that came with the unslung firmware — that’s the real instructions for the unslinging part.
