    Anyone managed to get Firefly to see ratings tagged with Mp3tag? Doesnt work for me. Also noticed that Firefly seems to work with a tag called POPULARIMETER. Where does this come from?

    http://www.id3.org/id3v2.3.0.html#sec4.18 From the id3v2 spec. that’s the tag for popularity/rating.

    What does mp3tag use?

    I think it uses “rating”

    ID3 does not have a tag/frame called “RATING”. Remember: Mp3tag allows you to set anything, like it or not… and it just shoves it a MP3 TXXX frame. None would be standard. You can add an entry called “FAVORITE TACO” and it would store it. 🙂

    POPM is as “standard” as you can get.
