As I don’t use playlists much myself, I have never considered the need for them to be sorted. I you want it, I can fix it off course.

I setup fireplay server on my Windows Home Server today. It works great. I even setup the web peice so I can stream music right from a browser. Amazing. Problem is, it only streams MP3. Is there something I can do to support MP4? I’m sorry if this has been answered. When I search for MP4 on this forum I seen an obscene amount of porno related posts which make me hesitant to search to far. Any help is appreciated

Hi,

is it possible to configure FirePlay to asking each time for the password of my FireFly-Server?

Right now everyone can connect to my server with typing in the url http://my.dyndns.org/firefly.html without a password prompt.

Any Ideas?

Yes, configure an admin password. There is an admin password and a music password. Admin password is for the web admin page, the one you are talking about.

I do not seem to be getting any returns for cover art from lastFM in my firefly window – anyone else having this issue?

When I choose an itunes created playlist in FirePlay, no matter what artist or album I select, the song selection window shows every song by every artist in the playlist. Is that normal behavior or is that a problem I can somehow resolve? “Library” and any Firefly created playlists work as expected, only showing songs belonging to the artist or album chosen. Thanks,

This is a bug. I haven’t been able to work on this app for a while, sorry about that.

I have a mental note to fix the playlist creation. As of now, the whole album is added even though only one song is highlighted.

Just installed the Fireplay add-in for WHS on my EX-470 over the weekend, no problems at all with the install or accessing the client over my home network but trying to access the client from my work over the internet on either FF or IE appears to crash the entire server. Scrolling through the last few pages it seems like a few other people have been experiencing the same problem as me but so far I haven’t seen any thoughts on the cause/solution. Any help would be appreciated since this is exactly what I’ve been looking for (all music sites at work have now been blocked 😡 ). I can provide log entries if that would be of use.
