I don’t want the user to have to wait for all songs by default. If you want to do it, you’ll have to shift-select the whole album list yourself.

I see. I understand the reason. Is it possible to do a smart playlist where length > 1 second? Will it take “forever” also? 🙂

Do it! It will not take forever. An early version of FirePlay actually downloaded the whole database before running, just as the FireFlyClient does. It’s slow when you have a lot of music but fast once it’s done.

Yes, I have been trying to visualize it for some time now. The best would be a right click menu. Second best is drag drop.

For smart lists, the playlist.html version works quite well so perhaps something like that.

Also, a “scan for new files” button should be there asap.

Hmm, I guess we need some “add, remove, edit” buttons for the playlist entries.

For the smart playlists I’ll just copy the look of the existing wizard.

To prevent the interface from becoming cluttered, perhaps there should be an edit mode that once activated allows you to see delete and add buttons on playlist items (to delete or add them to other playlists) and edit and delete buttons on the playlists themselves. Also drag and drop

first thing i would like to do is say thanks this is a great app

but i seem to be haveing a problem when i try to ssh to the server. i get the flash page and it say its conecting but thats all

my command line for ssh is ssh -L 9110:server:3689 serve

i have spent the pass 2 weeks goggleing and reading all i can read on ssh.
i think i am missing something simple.
