Dear all, my friend is having trouble with the Firefly Media Server, it’s stopped serving files.

The Firefly is loaded but always in stopped status (red icon instead orange icon on the taskbar)

    Here is the log contents

    Log file: firefly.log

    2007-09-17 16:34:56 (d18de828): Starting with debuglevel 0
    2007-09-17 16:34:56 (d18de828): Starting rendezvous daemon
    2007-09-17 16:34:56 (d18de828): Initializing database
    2007-09-17 16:34:56 (d18de828): Query: vacuum
    2007-09-17 16:34:56 (d18de828): Error: playlistitems.playlistid may not be NULL
    2007-09-17 16:34:56: Aborting

What can it be? Any solutions would be helpful, thank you.

    The setup:
    Rokulabs-Pinnacle Soundbridge Radio
Windows XP SP-2 installed on Notebook Toshiba Satellite
Linksys Wireless Broadband Router (forgot the model)

It sounds like you may have some corruption in your songs.db file.

Try deleting songs.db and restarting Firefly, allowing him to rescan and recreate the database.

OK, I’ll try it and I’ll let you know the results.
