Woohoo, that’s it: somehow the config.xml didn’t make it into the .ipk-package.
After adding it manually from sources to the admin-root directory it (nearly) works as expected including the 6 Firebug errors ๐Unfortunately the config-page gets confused again when I switch on my favourite VariousArtists-Compilation-setting by adding the following code to my mt-daapd.conf:
[scanning]
concat compilations = 1
Maybe this setting can be honored by the config-page in an upcoming release.
Best wishes from Germany,

the config page is not displayed at all in Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X (http://www.biama.de/config.png). In Safari the status page is nearly empty (http://www.biama.de/safari.png) and the refresh does not work but it seems to work in Firefox (http://www.biama.de/firefox.png).

Nope, actually it was probably a lack of communication. I though I knew what I was doing and I bet Ron also thought I knew what I was doing, but it turned out I had missed a bunch of options that should go into the config.
Will add them in the next commit.About the Safari issues. I don’t have any Mac friends to test stuff on. But I’ll see what I can do.

Do you have a linux box with konq? That might be close enough to webcore.

status.html and config.html now almost works in Safari.Fixes are in subversion:

and

… just want to confirm that the status and config pages work with svn-1130 on Mac OS X with Safari. Thanks! The only thing is that I can’t save the settings. I always get the message “Couldn’t save and if this weren’t a beta I’d tell you why” …

On the a.m. w2k version in the company, it still doesn’t show up.

Carsten. -
