I’m runing the new nightly using sqlite3 backend. In order to get it to startup I had to delete the old songs.db. ONce I did this is scanned OK and started. However after a reboot when it started up again using the new db it crashes:

    2006-01-13 08:23:34: Starting mp3 scan of /mediakeg/Audio
    2006-01-13 08:23:55: Error inserting file 08 – 20% Amnesia.flac in database
    2006-01-13 08:23:55: Aborting
2006-01-13 08:23:55: Rendezvous socket closed (daap server crashed?) Aborting.
    2006-01-13 08:23:55: Aborting

I’m guessing % in the filename or song title is a problem??

If I delete the songs.db and restart it is fine rebuilding db and running and plays the song (20% Amnesia) that causes it to crash on rescan without a hitch.

Can you touch that file and run it again with a -d9 -Ddatabase? I’d like the see the query it’s barfing on. I can’t find it, but I heard that in another thread.

Sorry… should have posted. I fixed it in cvs shortly after I posted the first request.

Sometimes I’m not so smart, as it took me a while to realize I could replicate this merely by renaming a song with a % in it. As I said, sometimes I’m not too smart.

Anyway, it’s fixed in cvs. I have some configure stuff to wrap up as well, so I might drop that fixed version tonight. Also, I think my nslu2 toolchain is probably done compiling, so I could drop a slug package too.
