That sounds very much it was corrupted in some way.

Might try fetching it right from the slug:



[email protected]:~$ wget http://nightlies.mt-daapd.org/mt-daapd_svn-909-1_armeb.ipk

then you aren’t moving it around the network and potentially mangling it.
