WOW… vanishing threads

Back in January, I posted about the Promise Technologies ns4300 NAS and its ability to stream video to an AppleTV. They claimed to be using Firefly to do this, with extensions. So I post the questions again.

Can Firefly now do this? Has Promise posted any code back to the community that is being worked on? And, of course, what has caused the previous thread to vanish?

The last nightly was released in October 2007.
Ron, the sole developer, last visited the forum in December 2008.
What does that tell you?

As for your other post. I remember it but suspect it may have been inadvertently deleted while cleaning out pages of spam.
There are 6281 topics on this forum & 15840 deleted spam topics, this does not include spam posted into legitimate topics. The bulk of the spam (~15000+ topics) have been posted between June & now.
I sometimes wonder why I bother to continue deleting all the spam.
It would be nice if i could Ban the spammers.
