Greetings
This is my first post so please be gentle with me 🙂
I have a home office with an SBS2003 network which I have extended to my home. I want to stream music from my server which runs Windows Server 2003 R2 and is switched on 24/7 (I do not want to stream from an XP client). Windows server does not support upnp which limits the media servers I can use to stream to a device such as the Roku Soundbridge. SBS2003 includes Windows Media Services but I do not think that this will work with the Roku. I cannot run Windows Media Connect from the server due to the lack of upnp.
My plan is to run Firefly on the server. So here are the questions.
Does Firefly run on a Windows Server box (no upnp)?
Are there any known issues with this configuration?
Because I don’t know what I don’t know (unknown unknowns and all that), should I be asking any other questions? Thanks in anticipation.

Denmead, Hampshire, UK.I haven’t heard specific go/no go on sbs 2003, but it seems to run find on regular server 2003. You’ll need the bonjour for windows, of course, and the firefly stuff, but it should fire right up, as far as I know.
I wouldn’t anticipate any problems specific to sbs 2003.
