stream music to an airport extreme

Hi all,

Firefly is great! Got it running just now and works lovely.

I wonder if anyone knows if it’s possible to stream directly from server software to an airport extreme – rather than having to go through iTunes and play it through remote speakers.

I’d like to be able to control music playing through the web interface.

The server doesn’t have a way to enque or order music to be played. In the iTunes model, that’s the job of the client. The server merely offers the music to be played.

You are probably looking at something like slimserver, where you control what gets played on the server side, and the clients just accept to music that’s been assigned to them.
