    Thanks for your reply.

    I’m not sure what Linux is – have tried to change zero config but that just stopped everything else – changed it back. Some one suggested it might have been files that moved that won’t play but that doesn’t explain why firefly works on laptop but not on desktop… I’m lost on this.

    What kind of wireless router do you have? Some of them are incompatible — roku has a list of ones that don’t work on their web site, but depending on the model, that might be the problem.

    I know, for example, that many of the D-Link wireless routers have problems.

    Others of them don’t work by default, but you can go into the web configuration page of the router and enable multicast, and then they work.
