Probs with the set up of Firefly.

Hi , please could some one help me , i have just got hold of a pinnacle soundbridge home music. it’s working and seeing my home wireless net work and picks up radio stations fine . i down loaded Bonjour and have set that up and then downloaded Firefly Version 1.0svn-1359 from their web site . have installed it all but when the program goes to start it stops after about 5 sec’s this is the log .

I then get the windows screen of ” firefly has encounted a problam and needs to close”

i have uninstalled and then loaded both programs agin but with no luck .

i am running windows xp sp2 ,

Probably a file it’s unhappy with.

If you use the option for “advanced configuration”, it should put you into notepad with the configuration right there. Find the one for “debuglevel”. Change it to 5 and save it.

If there is no entry for debuglevel, just add a line like:

debuglevel = 5

right under the entry for “logfile”.

Once you have saved that, start the server from the tray. Wait for it to crash, and look at the “log” tab on the tray applet. It will show you the file that made it crash. Move that file out of the way and start the server again.
