Would it require much effort to transcode OGG/Vorbis files to (hight quality, 320kBps or so) MP3 or MP4 in realtime on the server? For now, this would enable iTunes clients to play them – the solution with the locally installed vorbis-qt codec from http://qtcomponents.sourceforge.net/ doesn’t work for streamed files here 🙁

The nightlies support server-side transcoding and metatag reading for ogg, flac, wma, and apple lossless, among others.

Check the “Documentation” link for info on setting up transcoding using the nightlies.
