ogg plugin for iTunes

Is there a plugin for iTunes (Windows and/or Mac OS) that will allow it to play ogg files?

I tried the ones from http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/ but no luck. They did not seem to make any difference, and I tried them on both a Mac and Windows.

yes, they do play ogg files, but only contents from the local library.
no streaming ogg files.

works like a charm on all my x86 itunes clients.

Yep, local file worked, just tried that. Thanks for the hint.

So transcoding is really the only solution then.

yes, but even on a slug its nice and rather easy to set up given two precautions:

1. dont have any ogg files bigger than, say 10-15Megs
2. include the right transcoding module 😉
