Sorry If I am being obscure. The last incarnation of these forums allowed me to subscribe to each forum using RSS. That way iIcould watch was going on from Google Reader. I was hoping this could be re-enabled.

Oh wow I wasn’t aware of that.
I’ve checked the (admin-)options, and couldn’t find anything. Maybe there’s a hack or plugin that enables this.

I was also using newsfeed feature and it would be great to get it back !
I’ve checked around and it’s indeed not part of phpBB but there are some available mods to install for doing that. You can have a look at : http://www.phpbb.com/mods/db/index.php?i=browse&mode=group:category&sub=syndication

another vote for the return of this feature. RSS feeds through a portal like Netvibes makes it so much easier to keep ytack of new posts on multiple forums (fora?)
