I’ve wasted so much time on this. Even reading other posts didn’t help so here I go.

1- Do a search for ‘Itunes Music Library.xml’

2- Copy and paste the path pointing to your xml file in the Music Folder field on the configuration page of the Firefly server OR in the Media field of the library tab

THE PLAYLIST FIELD ON THE CONFIGURATION PAGE IS NOT USED

That wasn’t so hard, was it?

    Have fun! 😛

I’m running v 0.2.4 of firefly on a Maxtor MSS with a Roku Soundbridge.

I’ve got my itunes xml file in the Music directory where my MP3 files are, and it still can’t see the playlists.

My Configuration page in webadmin sounds like it is different to other people’s. The only fields I can change are:

    Web Root
    Playlist File
    MP3 Dir
    Database Dir
    Port
    Server Name
    Logfile
    Art Filename
    Run As
    Admin Password
    MP3 Password
    Extensions
    Rescan Interval
    Scan Type
    Always Scan
    Compress
    Process .m3u Files

0.2.4 doesn’t read itunes playlists. You’ll need nightlies. I’m actively working on putting together MSS packages for nightlies, having just acquired one myself.
