itunes playlists are not updated

check the directory Permissions.i Have read ” musst be Executeble” “RWX”
and the files musst be “R” from the Mt-Daap User.

I had a similar issue when I upgraded to v 16…
I solved the issue by running ff under the root account instead of the guest user.
Not the smartest solution but it works.
