I use songbird to browse my DAAP collection on my laptop…
But I can’t add songs to preexisting playlists..
Is this possible? Is there any way around it? Does mt-daapd(firefly) support adding songs to playlists?
What I’m trying to accomplish is that I have about 4 to 5 computers/laptops in my apartment. I want to be able to access the same playlists from each computer.. and be able to add new songs as I go.
I have been using Firefly Java client for more than a year now. A perfect way to create playlists, that you can use from other computers. The playlists are centrally stored in the Firefly database.
In our case the lists are used on other computers with itunes or FirePlay client.
I have loaded up the java firefly client.. but have not found a way to add to a playlist. Right clicking on a song does nothing, and you can’t drag. “New Playlist” is greyed out 😐
Any tutorial? I see RSP, but I thought RSP was a part of Firefly?
