I didn’t see your post until now because I forgot to tick the notify box in this thread. I would like to see your notes as well.
As for the compiling stuff I might set up a Linux box (I have an old PC sitting around I don’t use anymore) and try to establish a cross compiling environment. However, time is limited and I do have Firefly running on another box (Synology) so it doesn’t have highest priority right now – but perhaps in the Xmas hollidays…

I was away on a business trip, but came back to see your message. Since we can’t PM on the board, just email me at bradleychapin (at) yahoo (dot) com and I’ll send you a copy of the notes.
Regards,

They wreck everything.

possibly this could be a way to go … dont know if you already found a solution. i got daapd to work on my ss4000-e and published a howto and a binary distribution on my website. feel free to grab your copy and give it a try. http://www.fbis.ch/index-de.php?frameset=8#download-18
the howtos are in german so far. there are also other howtos and binaries available for the intel storage. more to come. if you have suggestions let me know 😉

22/12/2007 at 3:18 PM #14905csternParticipantHi Frank,
I will give it a go.
Is it based on the nightlies from this site or is it the old mt-daapd?
As far as I know only the nightlies support the Pinnacle M1001 client player I have.

Daapd works for daap clients, but not for the pinnacle — it’s not licensed for daap.
