Sorry to hear that Ron, hope you feel better. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt done and I didn’t know where to look.

Oh, by the way…it (CC) is CentOS4, based on RHEL 4.

I’d like to install it on my ClarkConnect also, any progress on this? 🙂

    Franc,

I was able to compile and use it on my CC 4.2. I’m available to help if you are game to compile…

2.4.1 stable works fine if you DONT need any transcoding, and has an easy rpm. Otherwise, compiling 1696 should be OK.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I messed up my CC 3.2 by installing newer GLIBC and stuff 🙁
So I am looking for a new distro to run firefly on but haven’t found it yet.

If CC 4.2 will do the job (filesharing, webserver AND firefly) I’ll install it!

I have CC 4.2 installed now.
What do I need to do to compile and install the latest nightlies version?
There seems to be no C compiler on board (same problem as in CC 3.2)

I don’t know anything about 3.2. Do you have the developer package installed? Do you know how to compile?

on 4.2, you install this with apt-get cc-devel, as I recall. It’s on the web site.
