FLAC -> MP3 streaming?

    Has anyone tried to change the FLAC -> WAV recoding to FLAC -> MP3 recoding?

    I have the problem that my soundbridge is connected via WLAN and the bandwith is not high enough to stream the uncompressed WAV (about 1400kbit/s).
    So it would be great if it would possible to recode flac to mp3 (e.g. 320kbit) and then stream this.

    anyone has an idea?

    dbPoweramp does the trick very well – even batchmode, and free for 30 days.

    Thanks for the link, but the hack mentioned in the posts seem to be above my simple computer-skills. Is there any easy solution, besides transcoding my whole music collection in a seperate folder?
