    I have previously used FireFly on my WHS box with no issues. Over the weekend I moved everything over to an Ubuntu box and I have started having issues. I’ve installed the latest stable version of FireFly, but I’m having horrendous buffering issues. Songs always play for 15-20 seconds then pause to buffer, then play for a while longer, then buffer again. I’m having this problem in every player I’ve tried including iTunes and SongBird.

    This is on a gigabit network, and I didn’t have any issues from WHS. Is there a buffer setting somewhere? Any advice?

    What version of firefly are you usign exactly?
    Everything is on wired gigabit network, same subnet, etc?

    What kind of files (Codec, bitrate) do you want to stream?
