    hello,
    i have mp3 files with a bitrate from 128 kbit up to 256 kbit…
    it is possible to stream all files now with 128kbit or even 96 kbit on the fly?

    Currently not.
    Because mp3 files are not being transcoded.

    Technically, you would have to transcode them into the lower bitrate. Quality and whatnot albeit, I guess when streaming over a WAN or very bad wireless link, thinsg like that would be nice. 🙂
