Hi everyone!,
First of all, i want to thank everyone on this site, who have contributed to the project!! 😀
CrossFire gets more and more device support througout every release, and i must say, i am quiete satisfied with the latest set of feautures. For those who dont know, CrossFire is a browser independent webclient for FireFly Media Server.
It runs on most NAS/Servers supporting PHP4.x and 5.x.New features:
[*] Browser independend AJAX routines
[*] A brand new skin for Desktop Browsers (FireFox, Chrome, Safari, and IE supported)
[*] Session based caching for improved loading speeds
[*] Server based caching for offloading the FireFly Server
[*] Last.FM integration, displaying album information, similar artists and other albums.
[*] JWPlayer integration featuring sound visualisation and playlist support
[*] Export libraries, so you can also listen using your favorite player (WinAMP, Windows Media Player etc)
[*] Customizable themes for each device
[*] Extend themes and functionality using your own javascript engine.Download:

it’s gotten a bit quiet around crossfire.
nevertheless, it’s a nice product and i do thank you 4 your work.using safari on an iPhone
Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16
i experience an error within the QuickTime player when trying to playback simple MP3 files:
Cannot Play Movie – This movie could not be played
i have been trying to get through your code to figure out what causes qtplayer to fail,
but frankly, couldn’t understand it in its entirety.i’m using mini_httpd on the server where CrossFire is installed and
adriano ~ # php --version
PHP 5.2.10 (cgi) (built: Aug 2 2009 00:49:14)as PHP.
the mt-daap prot. version is v3.0.0
and it’s running on a different serveremily:~# !dpkg
dpkg --list | grep -i daap
ii mt-daapd 0.9~r1696.dfsg-6lenny2 iTunes-compatible DAAP server
can you give me a hint @debugging please?
thx 4 reading this.01/02/2010 at 3:22 PM #18545AnonymousInactiveDoes not work for me either, I have tried with PHP 5.2.x ( Apache and Lighttpd ). The interface loads on Firefox, Chrome, and iPhone. on Chrome it even finds the library and shows the albums/artists etc, same for iPhone. However on Chrome it keeps giving message “Loading Data” and never ever gets out of that, on Firefox that does not work at all. On iPhone when I try to select a song to play, the built in Player in iPhone gives error, can not play movie. I suppose it is sending wrong mime types or some other reason. Any idea on what could be going on?
