When I do a ps aux from the terminal; it shows two mt-daapd processes — any idea why?

    mt-daapd 4983 0.0 0.1 28188 2140 ? Sl Mar12 0:00 /usr/sbin/mt-daapd
    mt-daapd 4986 0.0 0.6 62300 12216 ? Sl Mar12 0:02 /usr/sbin/mt-daapd

Don’t worry they are pthreads, so it’s alright. In fact there are several more processes when clients are connected.

Take it as a chance and read up on processes and threads. 😉

Thanks for the links — that makes more sense. BTW mt-daapd aka FireFly rocks!
