Can firefly be used as an alternative of sc_trans?

    I am now running a shoutcast server on my Ubuntu 7.10 server. As transcoder I use sc_trans 0.40. I want to change the encoding format to AAC instead of MP3. Can firefly be used as an alternative of sc_trans? Can it use AAC as encoding format?

    Firefly isn’t a shoutcast server!
    Its a DAAP (iTunes) music server first and foremost.
