I noticed that on svn1695 (Windows XP), instead of reporting 28510 songs (the song count according to iTunes) Firefly was reporting 33395992. I rescanned and it reported a different but similarly crazy number. Then I rescanned again and this time the scan got stuck. I looked at the error log and I have dozens of lines that say:

    2007-10-27 21:11:49 (e9077b13): Error: enum_begin failed (error 1): ?

    Corrupt db?

If you whack the songs3.db and rescan, does it get any better?

After a computer reboot, it seems to have fixed itself today.

There were some serious leaks fixed in latest nightlies. Might be related.
