Firefly Skipping Track

Very strange.

I’m listening to a track and I hit the ‘forward’ button on the Roku and two seconds of the next track plays then it skips to the next track.

I hit the back button and the track plays no problem.

Upon further experimentation this happens almost every other time as I go ‘forward’ through the playlist.

I have also noticed that this happens sometimes when I go ‘back’. Two seconds of the previous track plays and it skips to the next track.

My playlists are generated by scanning the iTunes .xml file I have.

Any reasons why I’m getting this behaviour?
