I can see NSLU Music within my itunes client but there are no songs?? I have put alot of albums in /share/hdd/data/public/mp3 and as far as i can see the permissions are ok: ls -l /share/hdd/data/public/mp3 Output–> drwxrwxr-x 2 barry everyone 4096 Jan 19 21:39 01 – U2_HOW_TO_DISMANTLE_AN_ATOMIC_BOMB drwxrwxr-x 2 admin everyone 4096 Jan 14 20:40 01-Massive Attack-100th Window -rwxrw-r– 1 barry everyone 3683143 Jul 4 2004 01.mp3 drwxrwxr-x 2 barry everyone 4096 Jan 19 21:53 02 – robbie williams greatest hits -rwxrw-r– 1 barry everyone 3016498 Jul 4 2004 02.mp3 drwxrwxr-x 5 barry everyone 4096 Jan 19 21:43 03 -Eminem-Encore – 2cd 30/01/2006 at 1:54 AM #3931 rpeddeParticipant try running it with -d5 and a logfile specified in the config file. That will throw out errors that will explain why it can’t index those songs. The permissions do indeed seem to be right, so I’m not sure what it might be. Check the config file and make sure the mp3_dir is right… no spaces after /share/hdd/data/public/mp3, for example. That’s about all I could think of, but the -d5 will show you more info. — Ron Author Posts Viewing 2 posts - 1 through 2 (of 2 total) The forum ‘Setup Issues’ is closed to new topics and replies. → Welcome
