    I have just installed firefly on a Thecus 2100; so far so good.

    I was wondering which how to set up the configuration for it not to scan automatically ? I am happy to manually scan when I add new material and would rather not have the drives being spun up when they aren’t needed ?

    Colin, I just set the scan interval to some ridiculous amount of time. I think the setting is in seconds… I set it to like 100 million seconds, effectively keeping it from re scanning very often. I think a Zero setting or a negative number might work too.

    0 disables the scan. That’s how I run it, too.
