    Hi

    I have regular buffering with iTunes with Firefly transcoding FLACs. Server is wired to the router, the wireless network runs at 54mbps and signal strength is good. Am I expecting too much or is there something I can do about it.

    Well, whether you expect too much or not probably depends a lot on the server, so maybe you should mention first which kind of server you are using 😉

    Firefly 1498 on XP home on a Dell 1300 wired to a Ozenda 11g wireless router 😉

    Seems like it’s really variable. Some folks can make it work with a low-end server, others can’t. Not sure exactly what the variable is.

    I’m assuming it works okay wired?
